how it all began
2004 - 2009
2009 - 2015

I first began my artistic journey at the age of 3 in gymnastics class. After moving from IL to MI, my mom put me in my first recreational dance class at age 8. I actually sat out of every single class, and was too shy to step foot on the dance floor until a few weeks before the dance recital.
Fast forward a year after being in MI - I began training in competitive rhythmic gymnastics, including intense Russian Classical Ballet training from the age 9 until age 15. It wasn't until high school that I realized I loved making up dances and dancing to popular music, more than the intense rhythmic gymnastics environment. So I quit rhythmic gymnastics, started competition dance and joined my high school's color guard squad.

Throughout high school I danced competitively and taught classes at my local dance studio, was captain of the color guard squad, and ended up choreographing and competing on my high school's Bollywood Fusion dance team. Fun fact: At the end of high school, I didn't decide to commit to the University of Michigan (I was choosing between Michigan and Michigan State) until after I accepted my spot on the University of Michigan's Bollywood Fusion dance team!

At University, I continued dancing as choreographer and lead for Michigan's Bollywood Fusion dance team. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition team was halted and I turned to local dance businesses to keep up with my technique. These local, drop-in dance studios such as RELEASE Detroit introduced me to the commercial dance world - dancing as a career and in the media.

I am training at a professional commercial dance training program -The INstitute of Dancers- in East Lansing, MI. This includes acting classes, working with pro choreographers, photo and video shoots, and music video opportunities. I have worked with artists such as Mikaila Murphy, Brooke Hogan, Jacob Moran (American Idol - Season 20), and have joined the new country pop group Daisy Dukez. Check out my commercial dance page linked above to see all the action!
